The Port of Sines participates at Transport Logistics 2023, taking place in Munich, between the 9th and 12th of May. This is the leading European venue in the logistics, transport and intermodality, bringing together the main stakeholders of the sector.

This presence, framed within the booth of APP – Associação dos Portos de Portugal, aims at promoting the Port of Sines in the European market, positioning itself as the atlantic hub for imports and exports, while presenting Sines as an excellent location for the establishment of new industrial and logistical projects of international scope.

It must be remarked that the Port of Sines offers weekly direct connections to the leading world markets, serving the Iberian hinterland through a railway platform operating more than five thousand trains a year. ZALSINES Intraportuária – Port of Sines Logistic Activities Zone offers immediate availability for the construction of new warehouses, ideal for companies in the logistics sector who wish to benefit from a close proximity to the port. Also jointly located to the port area, the Sines Industrial and Logistic Zone, with over 4,000 hectares, is an excellent location for large-scale projects.

This is also an excellent opportunity to stay up-to-date of current trends in the sector, namely those related to the energy transition, sustainability and the latest developments in terms of innovation and digitalization of logistics. Within this scope, the NEXUS Agenda also has a dedicated area in the venue, aiming at promoting the innovative products and services under development and that will reinforce the sustainability of the logistics chain of the Port of Sines.
