On February 26, representatives of the Brazilian Foreign Trade Association (AEB) and the Portuguese Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Rio de Janeiro visited the Port of Sines, continuing the development of trade between Brazilian companies and the Port of Sines.

It should be recalled that APS - Ports of Sines and the Algarve Authority celebrated, in March 2019, a cooperation protocol with the AEB in order to promote actions that aimed to increase the flow of cargo between Brazilian ports and the Port of Sines at the same time that it consolidates this port as a center for the distribution of Brazilian cargo in Portugal and Europe.

The South American market is considered very important for the Port of Sines, which assumes itself as the gateway for Brazilian products to the European continent, with special emphasis on agribusiness, due to the enormous evolution that this sector has shown in recent years and due to Sines capacity to host these types of projects.
