Integrated Management System


The policies of the integrated management system guide APS in the areas of quality, environment, security, protection, information security, and reconciliation between professional, family and personal life.

This system aims to satisfy the legitimate needs and expectations of customers, shareholders, employees, suppliers and other interested parties, through the provision of high quality services, innovation, and the sustainability of the activity.

The providers are evaluated according to the criteria lead time and quality of service/product.

At the same time, it focuses on environmental protection, adequate health and safety conditions, and a conciliation management program, following the principles of continuous improvement and in line with the strategic options for the port.

APS, SA has, since December 5, 2005, certified quality in accordance with the requirements of the ISO 9001 standard, within the scope of the realization processes "Movement of ships in the port, including piloting" and "Management of concession contracts On May 13, 2008, APS's environmental, health and safety management systems were also certified, according to the international standards ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001, for the mentioned scope, as a port authority, in the areas of its exclusive responsibility.

In 2012, the extension of the scope of certifications was approved, with the inclusion of “Licensing management. Recreational Port Management. Management of ZALSINES - Intra-port area. ”

Since July 22, 2013, APS, S.A. has had its Information Security Management System certified according to ISO/IEC 27001:2013. In July 2022, the change in the scope of the ISO27001 certification was approved, for governance of the development of the JUL (Logistics Single Window), implementation, installation and support of the JUL and the supervision of the execution of data entry, information integrity and business workflow actions.

In the first half of 2021, OHSAS 18001 migrated to ISO 45001 and NP4552 certification relating, respectively, to occupational health and safety management systems and the reconciliation of professional, family and personal life.

Certifications have been renewed, which reflects the consistency of management systems and the importance of these areas in the management of APS, SA.

The certifying entity is Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance with the exception of the NP4552 standard which is Bureau Veritas.
