In addition to the institutional component, which has been the hallmark of the excellent relationship between national ports and Angolan ports, within the APP - Portuguese Ports Association and APLOP - Portuguese Speaking Ports Association, this visit reinforced the close cooperation between Sines and some ports of Angola, which has resulted in the development of various partnerships in the technical and operational component, and within the field of information systems.

This work meeting set the tone for the strengthening of the institutional relationship between the national and Angolan port system. A visit to the Information and Innovation Center of the Port of Sines also took place, as well as a visit to the expansion works underway at Terminal XXI, which are moving forward at a good pace, and will provide the infrastructure with a total capacity of 4.1 M TEU.
