From March 13 to 15, the city of São Paulo hosted the 24th edition of Intermodal South America, the main trade fair for Foreign Trade, Logistics and Freight Transport in that continent. The Port of Sines was present at the event, integrating the APP – Ports of Portugal stand that also presented its new visual identity, under the motto "The Force of the Atlantic".
The inauguration was attended by the Minister of Transport of Brazil. Maurício Quintella Lessa made a point of visiting the stand of the Ports of Portugal, where he was received by the President of APS, José Luís Cacho, and the President of the Association of Portuguese Speaking Ports and also President of the Port of Santos, Alex Oliva.
It should be remembered that Latin America is a very important market for the Port of Sines, which already offers direct and weekly connections with that area of the globe, namely on the Atlantic coast of Brazil to Argentina and the coast of the Pacific, through the Channel of Panama.
