On November 2, the APS - Ports of Sines and Algarve Authority and the Chinese Logink - Transport and Logistics Public Information Platform signed a cooperation protocol on the integration and sharing of information related to maritime and port transport. The signing of the document took place in Shanghai, included the Enterprise Mission to China led by the Minister of the Sea, Ana Paula Vitorino.

This protocol aims to establish the bases of cooperation so that the support systems of the port activity, namely JUP - Port Single Window, can exchange information with the Chinese systems and thus facilitate trade between the two countries. In this way, the associated administrative processes are streamlined, giving a further step in reinforcing Sines as the Atlantic hub of the New Maritime Silk Road.
