A delegation from the Port of Luanda visited the Port of Sines in order to know some procedures of this port administration related to ethics, information systems, maritime operations and the quality, environment and safety system.

The delegation, led by João Manjenje and Augusto Singui, managers of the Port of Luanda and members of the Ethics Committee of the Angolan port, was welcomed by the President of APS - Ports of Sines and Algarve Authority, José Luís Cacho, who underlined the availability of the company in strengthening cooperation between the two entities.

The operation of the Logistic Single Window and its practical application in the management of the Traffic Control Center of the Port of Sines, as well as the implementation of good practices in the scope of ethics and sustainability were some of the topics discussed during the visit.

The exchange of knowledge and experience is a constant in the work of the APS, helping to establish cooperation links, namely with Portuguese-speaking ports.
