The Minister of the Sea, Ana Paula Vitorino, headed the presentation ceremony of the Pilot Project of the FUP/ISP - Invoice Single Port, an event which was also attended by the Minister of National Defense, Azeredo Lopes, and the Minister of Health, Adalberto Campos Fernandes. During the ceremony, the protocols signed between APS and the other authorities involved in the dispatch of ships, namely the Borders Authority, Customs Authority, Maritime Authority and Health Authority, were also homologated.

The Port Single Invoice is one of the Sea Simplex measures and it will yield significant gains not only in financial terms, resulting in a saving of about 600.000 sheets of paper/year, but above all a saving in terms of time, since instead of being issued five invoices (one for each authority), a single invoice will be issued by the Port Authority, making the whole process easier.

From 00:00H of April 1st, all ships calling the Port of Sines will already be issued the FUP – Port Single Invoice, being  expected that by the end of this year the same will happen in other national ports.
