Diplomatic Attachés of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs visited the Port of Sines and the ZILS

On 25 February, a delegation of Diplomatic Attachés of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs visited the Port of Sines and the ZILS – Sines’ Industrial an Logistic Zone in order to increase knowledge of this area, particularly with regard to the existing offer in terms of port operations, as well as for the location of investments.

The specialized terminals of the Port of Sines, with capacity to handle any type of cargo, as well as the weekly regular services to major world markets, were some of the themes highlighted by the President of APS, João Franco. The ZILS characteristics were presented by Francisco Mendes Palma, President of aicep Global Parques, during the meeting that was also attended by Nuno Mascarenhas, Mayor of Sines.

The joint promotion of Sines is a constant objective of the APS, the Municipality of Sines and aicep Global Parques, in order to attract investment to this area, especially among those who have the function to disseminate the potential of Portugal abroad, as in the case of Diplomatic Attachés.
