APS took part in the G7 Friends of the Gulf of Guinea Group meeting

On the last 7th of June, the Ports of Sines and Algarve Authority took part in the meeting of The G7 Friends of the Gulf of Guinea Group meeting, which was held in Lisbon under the Portuguese Presidency of the same group. João Franco, APS’ CEO, presented the vision, concerns and expectations of the Ports of Sines and Algarve Authority regarding maritime safety.

 

In this context, Mr. José Manuel Dias presented the main tools for information control and operational safety in the Port of Sines, namely the JUP – Port Single Window, FUP – Port Single Invoice and CUP – Port Single Card.

 

This meeting aimed to make a point of prospective situation regarding the implementation of the resulting architecture of the Yaoundé Summit, allowing also the continuous promotion of the coordination between the different national, regional or global initiatives, whether underway or in preparation.
