Students from the University of Algarve visited the Port of Sines

Nearly 50 students of the University of Business Management in Algarve, visited the Port of Sines, being received by the company’s CEO, João Franco.

The strategic framework of the Port of Sines at a global scale considering the different types of cargo handled, and the commercial positioning of the three ports under APS management in the international market, were issues approached by the students during the Q&A part of the visit.

The agenda continued with a technical visit to the five specialized terminals of the Port of Sines, where special attention was given to the port’s expansion capacity, as well as its natural characteristics and competitiveness factors, enhancing the state-of-the-art equipment, which has been contributing to reinforce the Sines’ position among the top 20 European Ports.

The visit to Sines also included the Sines Tecnopolo and a visit the Refinery of Sines.
