Delegation from the Port of Luanda visits the Port of Sines

A delegation from the Port of Luanda, headed by its President Alberto Bengue, visited the Port of Sines on last July 13, aiming be acquainted with the activity of this Port infrastructure.

João Franco, APS’ CEO, presented the positioning of the Port of Sines in the international port-maritime context as well as the main characteristics of the port terminals and regular maritime links to all continents, which includes this Angolan port.

The delegation also had the opportunity to visit the Traffic Control Centre of the Port of Sines, where the participants were explained the integration of the multiple operating systems allowing the fast clearance of vessels and cargo.

The cooperation with the Portuguese-speaking ports is very important for APS and these visits are an excellent opportunity to exchange experiences and deepen the institutional relations between the organizations.
